Deadlines
Internet bidding closes at 5:00pm EST on the evening before the sale, Thursday, March 11, 2010. The sale will be on Friday, March 12, 2010 and Saturday, March 13, 2010 from our facility at 223 The Boulevard, Eden, NC. Then, the sale will continue on site at 748 Ayden Rd., Eden, NC on Sunday, March 14. Full payment for Internet purchases must be made no later than 5:00 pm EST on Sunday, March 14.

Terms
There will be a 13% buyer's premium added to all purchases. Buyers premium will be reduced to 10% if paying by cash or pre-approved check. All sales are final and, unless guarantees are specifically stated, as-is. Every legal remedy available will be used to insure the performance of winning bidders. If you cannot satisfy the terms of the auction, please do not bid. The sellers of property sold through this website and Jesse Meeks Real Estate Auction & Appraisal, LLC reserve the right to reject any and all bids if they so choose. Announcements made the day of the sale take precedence over all prior releases, written or verbal, concerning this sale. No items will be released until full payment has been received. Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of buyer at the close of the auction, and buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property until removed from sale premises. A 10% credit card hold may be applied to bids to ensure performance. If the terms of the auction are not followed, Jesse Meeks Real Estate Auction & Appraisal, LLC reserves the right to charge the entire amount due to the credit card on file including any storage fees and penalties. All sales are subject to appropriate state sales tax laws. Buyer must acknowledge all terms of the auction and agree not to retract the purchase offer. Buyer shall be responsible for making arrangements for merchandise removal the day of the auction. Bidders should rely solely on personal inspection and not on information listed on the site or otherwise provided by auctioneer or seller. Bidder’s failure to inspect, or otherwise be fully informed as to the nature, quality, condition, quantity and size of any item will not constitute ground for any claim, adjustment, refund, termination of the contract for sale, or refusal to close the sale. Bidder accepts responsibility for and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless each seller and auctioneer and their employees, governing body, officers, owners, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, agents and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, judgments, fees, costs and expenses including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses related to, arising from or associated with buyer’s, his agents or representatives, use of the site, including but not limited to personal injuries or property damage incurred on the sale premises or during removal and transport of any auction item, and arising out of, based upon, or resulting from any breach or violation by bidder of this site user agreement or any use by bidder of the site or as a result of a dispute with another bidder.

Payments
Merchandise must be removed after the auction unless prior arrangements are made. For buyers attending the auction, payment must be made the day of the sale before removing any merchandise from the facility. Buyers who do not pay the day of the auction will be charged a $10 service fee for not paying and will be billed immediately. Handling, Storage Fees, and Shipping
Purchases not paid for within the time specified will be charged to the credit card on file. If payment and pickup arrangements are not made by the required time, there will be a $10.00 handling fee assessed per item over 20 lbs and $5.00 for items weighing less than 20 lbs to your invoice as well as an additional $5.00 per item per day storage fee for all items without exception beginning the third business day after the auction. Purchases not picked up within 20 days after the auction will be forfeit and resold to cover storage fees with no credit given to the original buyer. Other Information
Bids will be rounded down to conform to standardized bidding increments as listed on this website. If there is a discrepancy between an item's description and its picture, bids must be placed and will stand based on the description. No preference is given to the absentee bidders' bid as compared to the live crowd's; having the winning Internet bid before the auction does not guarantee that you will win the item if it sells for that price. We strive to implement Internet bids effectively, but we can make no absolute guarantees. Items not listing a final price after the auction results are uploaded sold for more than the Internet bid to the live crowd and were not tracked by the inventory control number. Winning Internet bidders will be e-mailed following the auction and will be responsible for paying for and picking up their merchandise in the time allotted.
